The Tourism and Leisure show

The ONLY Group Travel Show in the East of England!

The 2012 Tourism & Leisure Show organised was once again an outstanding success.

Visitors turned up in their droves to meet representatives from visitor attractions, destinations, hotel groups and coach and tour operators throughout the East and South of England. This year's show also attracted 25 new exhibitors including Stena Line, The Secret Gardens of Sandwich Kent, Stow Maries WW1 Aerodrome and Cruise for Groups. Free information and advice given to visitors, inspired them to visit places they may not otherwise have thought of.

The Taste Essex area proved as popular as ever, with representations from The Giggly Pig, Wilkins of Tiptree and Hadleys Ice Cream - producers of some of Essex's finest foods.

Presentations throughout the day meant that GTOs could learn first-hand about the places they wished to visit. The competitions were also popular, and included overnight stays at Essex hotels, as well as entry tickets to many visitor attractions.

The winner of the "Best dressed stand" sponsored by Top Attractions leaflet distribution company, was won by Poplar Home & Garden, Colchester.

A fantastic turn-out of high quality GTOs again this year, including lots of new faces, meant that exhibitors were kept busy all day. The Show is a wonderful showcase for Essex businesses and for those further afield, and provides the perfect opportunity for exhibitors to meet those all important organisers. Essex residents are also invited to attend.
